blogrolling goodness
So last night and this morning I worked on some scripts to automate the blogrolling section to the left. Hourly I have a perl script that grabs the changes.xml from weblogs.com. This script then goes and updates a database for any blog that I'm watching that has been updated in the last hour.
Then, I just query the database for my blogrolling list. Any blogs that are listed as updated at weblogs show up in bold.
I'll be posting up some public versions of the files I use in the next few hours.
