Anime Night
At brunch today my friend Becky and I got to talking about anime and ways that it tells stories in different ways and includes different themes then most american animation. So she came by early tonight and we watched a few different things. I showed her some lighter stuff like Cardcaptor Sakura, as well as some fairly dark things like Boogiepop Phantom.
We also talked about starting up a weekly anime night for a few of us to get together and watch things. I think it would be kind of cool. I've tried to do it before, but it's just kind of hard to keep it scheduled sometime. I think this time it may work.
