Lazy Days

Today was a day to catch up on rest. I was up fairly early and drove down to CT to hang out with my mom. I always hate driving down here in the winter because everything is so brown. There are no leaves on the trees and it just looks so bleak. I only really like it if it has snowed sometime just before I travel, because then it just looks so cool. It wasn't like that today. There were some cool looking trees that seemed to be partly covered in ice, but I wasn't able to pull over and get any pictures.

There's something about being down at my parent's place that always makes me just relax though. I sat down to read while my mom was at the museum giving a tour and just passed out. I didn't think I was that tired, but I slept for a good hour and a half. Then I watched the end of Gasaraki.

I'm still not quite sure what I think of Gasaraki. It was very engaging and I kept finding myself sucked into it, but I am still not sure I fully understand it. I need to go back and watch the whole thing through again.

I'm working on this post offline, one neat feature of Radio is that I can work on posts offline and when I am back online they will all sync up and get pushed out to my web server. I really like that idea because it lets me keep writing and posting things. And it all gets saved till later.

Tonight It's off for sushi and then maybe watching some TV. One thing I don't like about coming down to Hartford is that I don't know much of what there is to do here. So I tend to feel tied down to my parent's place.
