I had a nice post about how bad this show is typed up and my browser crashed right as I was looking for some links to put up. So I'll quickly recap. The pilot was painful to watch, the first episode not much better. I'm still wondering why they bothered to call it Birds of Prey when the characters are so different from in the comics. Since when was Black Canary a teenage girl who can see the future? And even more curiously, when did The Huntress become a meta-human? Will they be able to write better episodes in the future? Who knows. I probably won't be tuning in to find out. Another reason I'm kind of disappointed with the show is that we've actually had some decent superhero movies in recent past. So I'd been expecting something with at least a little bit better writing. As a friend of mine said, "Finally a show that makes Mutant X look good".
On the plus side for the show. I actually think Mia Sara does a pretty good job as Harley Quinn. I didn't recognize her with short blonde hair at first.
