Texhnolyze Music

Damn. Posted this to a message board I'm on, but thought I'd post it here too.

Character designs by Yoshitoshi ABe. Opening track by Juno Reactor (I've been waiting for a show to use some music like this for ages). Texhnolyze looks like it could be a winner already.

Um, wow. I just took in the first episode. I really hope someone does I high quality encode of this. The first episode of this show had almost no dialogue. Maybe 20 lines total. But visually I found it amazing. Very dark, parts very creepy. Lots of what the f*ck is going on moments. In the end I actually think I had a decent idea of what was going on (at least in part of it), but I'm still clueless as all hell.

Visually, the show has that dark Boogiepop Phantom/Lain look. And so far it seems to really work well (for me at least). This is one I'll be checking out more of.

I haven't watched the episode, but I played the first few moments just to make sure it was working. Owen was in the room, and he said, "I like the beat in that music!"

Hmm. First time I posted a reply here.

Well, this anime is supposed to be about this forsaken city, Ryukyusu (Lux) and the people who live in it. Ichise is a guy who's trying to survive by boxing. Ran (Lan?) is a girl who can see the near future.

Supposedly, the city is run by ORUGANO. But of course, there's a group that's trying to rebel against them, called RAKAN.

There's also some rare material called Rafia, which is why this city exists. (I assume to collect Rafia).

If you want to read a bit more, check this website on AnimeNfo.com:

I got all the info from there. ^^

If you like the opening theme, then I assume you like INDUSTRIAL music, a sub genre of electronica. A good site that offers free streaming audio is www.newmusiccanada.com. I recommend the bands Moev [try "Suffer" Mindfuck remix] and Alunared.
